Support the Future of a Global Law Firm

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to serve as a Staff Paralegal within the Professional Standards group, a key role supporting the firm's corporate compliance and recordkeeping, attorney transitions, and attorney licensing requirements.

Following the combination of two leading global law firms, this role offers an opportunity to support the continued integration and alignment of entity structures, compliance practices, and operational processes across jurisdictions. Working closely with Claims and Professional Standards Compliance Counsel, attorneys, administrative teams, the office of the General Counsel, and external partners, you will help ensure the firm maintains strong governance practices and meets critical regulatory requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment, values accuracy and confidentiality, and enjoys managing complex compliance responsibilities that support the operations of a global organization.

What You'll Do

  • Support corporate entity maintenance and compliance activities across U.S. and international jurisdictions.
  • Manage filing requirements, deadlines, registered agent coordination, and corporate records to maintain entity good standing.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate documents, including formation records, resolutions, amendments, and governance materials.
  • Conduct corporate research, due diligence, and compliance reviews to support firm initiatives and transactions.
  • Support attorney departure processes by coordinating compliance activities across internal teams and maintaining confidential records.
  • Manage attorney licensing, including renewals, registrations, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare compliance reports and provide accurate information to support the firm's internal legal team and firm leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to maintain accurate records and resolve compliance matters.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities across jurisdictions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in compliance-driven work.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, business professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Adaptability and a proactive mindset in a dynamic, evolving global organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • Four or more years of experience in paralegal, corporate legal support, compliance, or professional responsibility roles.
  • Law firm experience strongly preferred, particularly within a professional standards, risk management, general counsel, or corporate legal environment.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate entity maintenance, registered agents, annual filings, and foreign qualifications.
  • Familiarity with attorney licensing requirements and bar admission processes.
  • Experience with compliance tracking, entity management systems, or legal technology platforms such as IntApp is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and strong technical aptitude.
