Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. . This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional pharmaceutical services, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to patient outcomes. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting clinical initiatives to optimize patient therapy.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately using pharmacy software and EMR/EHR systems
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy and provide counseling on medication usage
• Manage inventory including ordering, stocking, and verifying medication supplies
• Administer immunizations and perform medication administration procedures as needed
• Collaborate with medical teams on pain management, medical management, and acute care plans
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Support patient service initiatives by providing education on medication regimens and health management
• Assist in training pharmacy technicians and other staff members in pharmacy operations and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of all pharmacy activities within EMR/EHR systems

Experience

• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical management practices required
• Experience working with pharmacy technicians .
