Staff Pharmacist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring optimal medication management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Administer immunizations as required and maintain accurate records of immunization status.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies.
• Stay updated with current pharmacy practices, medical terminology, and advancements in pharmacotherapy.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or RPh degree from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Proficiency in pharmacy systems for medication dispensing and management. Experience with Prime Rx is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
