Lawrence Pharmacy is a well-established, family-owned independent pharmacy serving the Chesapeake community for over 60 years. We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team in a busy, fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team while providing personalized care to a loyal customer base.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions in a high-volume pharmacy.
• Provide medication counseling and answer patient questions.
• Administer immunizations and provide other pharmacy services.
• Process prescriptions, manage insurance claims, and assist with medication ordering.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Maintain compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Pharmacist license required.
• Ability to administer immunizations required.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Compounding and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) experience are a plus, but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $65.00 per hour
