Staff Pharmacist(Full-Time Or Part-Time)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical pharmacy and patient care, with experience in various pharmacy settings including acute care and long-term care (LTC). The Staff Pharmacist will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional patient service, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including patient assessment and medication management.
• Administer immunizations and perform IV insertion when required.
• Maintain accurate inventory management of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Utilize pharmacy software, EMR, and EHR systems for efficient medication dispensing and patient records management.
• Educate patients on medication administration, potential side effects, and pain management strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
