Staff Production Engineering

About the role

This role involves handling and supporting Development Projects from initial stages through to production implementation. You will prepare and ensure completeness of development items and documents according to customer requirements, and support Toyota SPTT, Honda, and Suzuki development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and support Development Project from initial stage until production implementation
• Prepare and ensure completeness of development items/documents according to customer requirements
• Support Toyota SPTT, Honda and Suzuki processes
• Conduct analysis and improvement on production processes
• Create and update drawings, layouts, work instructions and standard work
• Conduct problem solving related to production and development processes
• Support productivity improvement, quality improvement and cost reduction activities
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing and related departments
• Ensure development processes run according to schedule, quality, cost and customer requirements

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Industrial Engineering
• Understanding of Development Project
• Experience or understanding of Toyota Development process, particularly SPTT stages and required items/documents
• Experience or understanding of Honda Development process
• Experience or understanding of Suzuki Development process
• Understanding of manufacturing/production engineering in automotive industry
• Able to use AutoCAD for drawing/design engineering
• Understanding of basic process improvement, problem solving and cost reduction
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings/technical specifications
• Able to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good analytical, communication and coordination skills
• Able to work individually and in teams
• Experience in automotive/wiring harness industry is an added value
