Staff Purchasing

About the role

Staff Purchasing responsible for managing the purchasing and procurement process, including supplier identification, price quotation requests, negotiations, purchase order creation, and delivery monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Search, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors
• Conduct price, quality, and payment terms negotiations with suppliers
• Manage purchasing administration and monitor purchase orders and outstanding orders
• Understand and execute the purchasing and procurement process from supplier search through delivery monitoring
• Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Operate Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Work with targets and deadlines, both individually and within teams

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education, preferably in Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably in manufacturing or industrial companies
• Ability to search, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors
• Capability to negotiate price, quality, and payment terms with suppliers
• Understanding of purchasing administration and ability to monitor purchase orders and outstanding orders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, responsible, with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work individually and in teams, meeting targets and deadlines
• High integrity and ability to maintain professional relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Willing to be placed at PT Beka Wire Indonesia – Subang
