About the role

PT Abimanyu Sekar Nusantara is seeking a Staff Quality to join our Quality Assurance & Control team. This role is based in Purwakarta, West Java and is instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and manufacturing excellence. As Staff Quality, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all products meet our rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and our reputation for excellence in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry.

Job Description

• Perform quality inspection and monitoring throughout the automotive plastic painting/coating process.
• Ensure finished products meet established quality standards and customer requirements.
• Inspect product quality, including appearance, color, coating thickness, adhesion, and painting defects.
• Identify, record, and monitor defects or non-conformities during the production process.
• Analyze quality problems and support root cause analysis using methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, or other problem-solving tools.
• Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports and defect monitoring data.
• Ensure production processes comply with applicable SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement and quality improvement activities to reduce defects and improve product quality.
• Maintain quality-related documents and records in accordance with the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Control (QC) / Quality Assurance (QA) in manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of quality inspection, defect identification, and problem-solving.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work in an automotive painting/coating manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably in the automotive, painting, coating, or plastic injection industry.
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of painting/coating quality inspection methods.
• Familiarity with common painting defects and their countermeasures.
