Skills and Competencies

• 8+ years of experience building scalable backend platforms, distributed systems, and enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in Java and C#/.NET, including APIs, microservices, and modern software engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, performance tuning, NoSQL databases, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and production-scale performance and reliability engineering.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, and mentor engineers across global teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with a focus on delivering business outcomes.

Education

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable platform services, APIs, and foundational systems supporting Moody s Insurance Solutions products.
• Lead architecture discussions and drive decisions that improve scalability, reliability, and platform modernization.
• Build secure, high-performing software solutions that meet evolving customer and business needs.
• Partner with engineering, product, and platform teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.
• Mentor engineers and champion best practices in software quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Drive operational excellence through monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, documentation, and continuous improvement.
