Staff Software Developer (9/26)

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Developer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will focus on architecting and delivering scalable software solutions for complex technical challenges in a modern, distributed environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve engineering workflows, resolve production issues, and help shape reliable systems that support business growth. The position also offers the opportunity to mentor other developers and contribute to process improvements that strengthen the team’s overall impact.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $160,000 – $208,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own complex technical challenges and architect scalable solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code in a team-focused environment
• Diagnose and resolve production issues with root cause analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable features
• Implement AI-driven methodologies to enhance engineering processes
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and best practices
• Identify and execute technical improvements across development workflows

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, particularly in managing complex systems
• Proficient in Go, Scala, or TypeScript (React/GraphQL)
• Strong foundation in system design and debugging across distributed environments
• Experience with observability tools like OpenTelemetry and Prometheus
• Previous contributions to open-source projects or personal coding initiatives
