Staff Software Developer

Who you are

• 8-12+ years in systems engineering with 3+ years in technical leadership roles
• Deep knowledge of one or more system-level programming languages like C++ or Rust
• Proven track record leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
• Experience working in an environment requiring engineering excellence to produce highly reliable software
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and security data processing
• Experience working on an Agent team for a SaaS organization
• Deep knowledge of operating system internals

What the job involves

• This role involves supporting a software development team with a strong focus on project delivery, technical execution, and team mentorship
• The individual is expected to demonstrate expert-level programming and system design skills, take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, and ensure adherence to software development best practices
• Build highly reliable code for agent-based cyber-security services and their deployment for Windows, Mac and Linux
• Create technical documentation including high-level designs and architecture specifications
• Drive technical excellence in code quality, performance, and system reliability
• Mentor Senior and Mid-level engineers on technical design and best practices
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and DevOps teams on technical solutions
