Staff Software Development Engineer - Mobile

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer - Mobile to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will focus on designing and delivering scalable native iOS solutions that support a large-scale mobile experience in the healthcare industry. You will partner closely with architects, engineers, and cross-functional team members to shape technical direction, improve performance, and strengthen the overall quality of the mobile platform. The position also calls for mentoring junior developers, promoting strong engineering practices, and helping the team adopt modern tools and technologies.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $106,605 – $284,280 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable native iOS mobile solutions
• Collaborate on solution design and architecture
• Ensure technical feasibility and performance optimization
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
• Communicate technical insights and align with team members
• Promote best practices and new technologies in mobile development
• Guide and mentor junior developers

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development lifecycle experience
• 3+ years designing and developing native iOS frameworks and features
• 3+ years in native mobile applications and platform testing
• 3+ years using the Swift language
• 1+ year utilizing AI tools like Claude
