A Day in the Life of the Staff Software Engineer

In this role, you'll be a hands-on individual contributor helping accelerate cloud platform initiatives across the business. You'll design, build, and operate business-critical applications and services on Azure, while partnering with engineering teams to strengthen cloud architecture, improve deployment processes, and support long-term system reliability. Your work will directly shape how the company modernizes its infrastructure and scales for the future.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Azure infrastructure, APIs, and platform services
• Working across the stack with Azure, .NET, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server
• Architecting secure, scalable Azure-based solutions
• Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar tools
• Improving GitHub CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, and logging
• Supporting authentication, authorization, identity management, API Management, networking, and cloud security
• Evaluating existing systems to identify opportunities for modernization and operational improvement
• Contributing to architectural discussions and helping shape practical implementation roadmaps
• Assisting with modernization efforts as legacy applications transition to modern platforms
• Schedule: 9:00am - 5:30pm PST

Requirements and Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Hands on experience WITH leadership capabilities
• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Years of professional experience with TypeScript and C#/.NET
• Expert-level experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments
• Professional experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or other)
• Experience with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
• Expert experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, application security, and cloud operations
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
