Staff Software Engineer, IDSM

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer, IDSM to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This is a highly technical role focused on building and scaling software that helps customers deploy, monitor, and manage AI/ML workloads in cloud environments. You will partner closely with customers and internal teams to improve the usability, performance, and reliability of core platform capabilities. The work will directly support discoverability, operational insight, and scalable model hosting for enterprise users.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $235,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to design deployment solutions for AWS SageMaker and Azure ML
• Introduce a data science catalog for global data science resource discovery
• Integrate model monitoring for deployment health and performance insights
• Enhance tagging capabilities for improved discoverability and tracking
• Expand LLM hosting capabilities to meet customer scaling and performance needs

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a software engineering individual contributor role
• Extensive experience in AI/ML model design, deployment, and lifecycle management
• Hands-on experience with high-performance back-end systems in distributed environments
• Proficient in designing and implementing secure, scalable APIs
• Experience with performance optimization in cloud environments
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
