What they need
- As a core member of our rockstar engineering team you will
- Lead complex technical projects from ideation and design through production and deployment, for example, tune the dispatch algorithm to drive shift fill rate improvements, build better onboarding experiences to increase worker conversion, and more
- Design, architect, and build highly-performant and reliable technical features, tools, and services using Node.js, React/React Native, Mongo, Python, GCP
- Drive the technical vision, influence product strategy, and conduct regular technical reviews
- Monitor and maintain the performance of our product and platform in a high user volume, two-sided marketplace environment to resolve issues and clear the shift marketplace
- Serve as a mentor for junior engineers and participate in scaling our team- You have a core competency with our tech stack namely, Python, Javascript/Typescript, Node.js, React Native and more
- Outcome oriented: You seek to understand the business context and how your technical work translates into real-world business outcomes

- A software expert: You have 6+ years of software engineering experience and experience working on a variety of technical projects and initiatives
