What they need

Requirements Description & Requirements who we are

lululemon is an innovative performance apparel company for yoga, running, training, and other athletic pursuits. Setting the bar in technical fabrics and functional design, we create transformational products and experiences that support people in moving, growing, connecting, and being well. We owe our success to our innovative product, emphasis on stores, commitment to our people, and the incredible connections we make in every community we're in. As a company, we focus on creating positive change to build a healthier, thriving future. In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.

core responsibilities

The Staff Solution Architect is accountable for end-to-end application architecture design across lululemon's core commercial domains — Marketing, Retail, E-commerce, Merchandise Planning & Allocation, and Supply Chain. This role drives cross-domain architectural alignment, identifies and promotes reuse of platform capabilities, shared services, and integration patterns, and establishes technology standards to enable lululemon's omnichannel commerce strategy with scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions

  • Lead cross-domain application architecture design, ensuring alignment, integration consistency, and dependency management across Marketing, Retail, E-commerce, Merchandise Planning & Allocation, and Supply Chain platforms
  • Identify, define, and drive reuse opportunities across domains — shared services, common data models, integration patterns, and platform capabilities that reduce duplication and accelerate delivery
  • Establish and govern architecture standards, design patterns, and reference architectures for the commercial technology landscape
  • Provide architectural leadership for large-scale, cross-domain initiatives (e.g., omnichannel commerce platform, unified customer data platform, integrated inventory visibility, end-to-end order management)
  • Conduct architecture design reviews and provide technical governance across the commercial project portfolio
  • Collaborate with domain architects, engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate business strategy into actionable technology architecture
  • Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, vendors, and build-vs-buy decisions with total-cost-of-ownership analysis
  • Mentor senior architects and cultivate an architecture community of practice across commercial technology teams
