Staff Systems Analyst

About the role

As a System Analyst within the Manufacturing Operations IT organization, you will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver solutions that enable manufacturing excellence across T&M Emerson's global operations. You will partner with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to understand business challenges, define solution requirements, and drive successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, workshops, and process analysis activities with global business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution designs
• Partner with software engineers, architects, and vendors throughout the solution lifecycle
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
• Support implementation of manufacturing digitalization initiatives, including MES, shop floor systems, warehouse solutions, quality processes, and manufacturing applications
• Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and deployment activities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate business processes
• Provide production support and root-cause analysis for critical business applications
• Act as a trusted advisor to business partners by balancing operational needs with long-term technology strategy

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience working as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, IT Analyst, Project Lead, or similar role
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Experience managing project activities and coordinating cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivery methodologies
• Experience working with enterprise applications and business process improvement initiatives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, quality, or engineering business processes (preferred)
• Experience with MES, ERP, Oracle applications, manufacturing systems, or factory automation solutions (preferred)
• Experience leading global projects across multiple regions (preferred)
