Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Staff Virtualization Engineer to join the Platform Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise virtualization technologies, including VMware, KVM, and Harvester, along with experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, and optimizing virtualized infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise on-premises virtualization infrastructure.
• Work with VMware vSphere, vSAN, vMotion, vCenter, and vRA.
• Develop and support virtualization solutions using KVM and Harvester.
• Automate VMware environments using PowerCLI, Python, or Go.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Troubleshoot vSphere clusters, networking, and performance issues.
• Optimize network hardware and software for virtualization integration.
• Perform end-to-end testing, root cause analysis, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
• Improve infrastructure security, reliability, scalability, and automation.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of relevant IT experience.
• Strong expertise in virtualization technologies, hypervisors, and network virtualization.
• Hands-on experience with KVM and Harvester.
• Strong VMware experience, including vSphere, vSAN, vMotion, and vCenter.
• Experience with enterprise VMware deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of VMware alternatives such as Nutanix, Red Hat, and OpenShift.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python, PowerShell, PowerCLI, or Go.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud technologies.
• VMware certifications are a plus.
