Staffing Coordinator

Johnson Service Group is looking for an Employee Service Representative (Staffing Coordinator) to undertake all clerical duties and become a valuable member of our team.

You will be responsible for providing operation support including but not limited to payroll processing, new hire paperwork & onboarding, background checks, ordering office supplies, contract employee support, and assisting recruiting staff as needed.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Answer and route phone calls.
• Provide customer service by answering employee requests and questions.
• Performs time collection and data entry.
• Assist with processing and documenting personnel changes and terminations.
• Maintain and prepare employee files.
• Complete onboarding process and new hire orientation.
• Submit online requests and assist with background checks/drug screenings for new hires.
• Responsible for Form I?9 compliance.
• Assist branch office with research, reports, duties, and special projects as requested.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to manage processes efficiently while analyzing and interpreting information.
