About the role

We are seeking an experienced Stage Rigging Project Manager to join our team in Silang, Cavite. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, ensuring that every rigging operation meets our high standards for safety, quality, and timeliness. This is a strategic leadership role where you will work directly with clients, coordinate teams, and manage resources to deliver outstanding results. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining Stage Riggers Inc.'s reputation as an industry-leading provider of rigging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of stage rigging and construction projects from initial design phase through to final installation and testing
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget
• Lead and supervise rigging teams and subcontractors, providing clear direction and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify potential challenges and develop appropriate solutions
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and manage expectations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports
• Conduct quality inspections and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction and installation
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment, liaising with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

What we're looking for

• Minimum 6-10 years' experience in stage rigging, theatre construction, or similar heavy rigging project management roles
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of rigging systems, theatrical equipment, load calculations, and safety standards relevant to the entertainment industry
• Certified competence in working at heights, rigging operations, and other relevant health and safety qualifications
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate diverse teams
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
• Experience with budgeting and cost control in construction or rigging environments
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Preferred: Experience with entertainment industry events, concert productions, or theatrical installations
• Preferred: Knowledge of CAD software or 3D visualisation tools
