STAINLESS WELDER

ob Summary:

Responsible for performing high-quality TIG/GTAW welding on stainless steel materials, including plates, pipes, fittings, and fabricated components, in accordance with approved welding procedures, technical drawings, and quality and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG/GTAW welding on stainless steel materials, including grades 304 and 316.
• Prepare, fit up, align, and weld stainless steel plates, pipes, and fittings.
• Select appropriate welding parameters, filler materials, and shielding gas.
• Ensure proper weld penetration, appearance, and dimensional accuracy.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Inspect completed welds and correct defects as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination of stainless steel materials during welding.
• Operate welding machines and related equipment safely and properly.
• Follow approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), quality requirements, and workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in good condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, inspectors, and other team members to meet production schedules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• With proven experience in TIG/GTAW welding of stainless steel.
• Knowledgeable in stainless steel fabrication, pipe welding, and joint preparation.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Familiar with welding quality standards and safety procedures.
• TESDA Welding NC II/NC III or equivalent certification is an advantage, unless specifically required by the project.
• Willing to undergo a practical welding test.
• Hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: Php18,120.00 - Php19,630.00 per month
