Stair Installer (Carpenter)

R&A Stairs Ltd is seeking a conscientious and detail-oriented individual to fill a full-time stair installer position at our custom stair and railing company located in Newmarket, ON - family owned and operated for 40 years.

Main duties include the installation of high-end wood stair systems alongside our head installer (including on-site stair assembly when required). Secondary duties include the removal of existing stairs and/or railings, deliveries/pick-ups and occasional in-shop fabrication work.

• Wages: $ 19.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements:

• Previous stair installation, carpentry and/or construction experience.
• Experience with basic woodworking hand tools, power tools and measuring tape.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs +)
• Driver’s licence and clean abstract

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 55.0 per week
