Your new role

As the Stakeholder Engagement Advisor for Personal Services, you will work closely with and support key stakeholders across the beauty, floristry, hairdressing, barbering & funeral services sectors. You'll proactively drive industry liaison through industry consultative committees, technical advisory groups, workshops, webinars, conferences, surveys and other stakeholder forums.

The role will support the Manager through operational support, administrative assistance, and stakeholder engagement activities, as well as working closely with the Training Products & Projects Delivery team to provide feedback towards the development of training products for the Personal Services sector.

Key outcomes:

• Stewardship of the Personal Services sector, including supporting mechanisms for collaboration that deliver tangible value, and aligning effort.
• Deliver timely, confidential, and proactive administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations, and informed decision‑making.
• Ongoing support of the Personal Services workforce development plan and contributing to the plan's development with relevant industry insights, available quantitative data, and qualitative information and feedback received from a variety of stakeholder forums.
• Coordinated feedback to the Personal Services stakeholders on key findings and responses to challenges and opportunities, under the guidance of the Stakeholder Engagement Manager (Personal Services).

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in and/or an understanding of the beauty, floristry, hairdressing, barbering or funeral services sectors would be highly desirable.
• Strong communication, engagement and influencing skills with the capability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Sophisticated writing skills including the ability to produce high-quality reports and submissions.
• Experience in a directly relevant or immediately transferable role
