Stall Assistant

About the role

A Stall Assistant role supporting daily operations in a food service environment, including food preparation, customer service, and stall maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily stall opening and closing duties
• Prepare food ingredients and assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately using the POS system
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the stall, kitchen equipment, work areas and dining area
• Wash and sanitise utensils, equipment and food preparation areas
• Restock ingredients, packaging materials and other supplies when required
• Check food items and ingredients for quality, freshness and proper storage
• Assist with receiving and organising deliveries and stock
• Handle customer enquiries and provide good customer service

About you

• Possess a valid Basic Food Hygiene Course (BFHC) certification
• Certification must be valid and comply with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) requirements
• Must follow proper food safety, hygiene and food-handling practices at all times
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene and safety procedures in accordance with SFA requirements
• Ensure food is prepared and handled according to the stall's standards and recipes
• Work cooperatively with other team members
