Stall Assistant

About the role

The Retail Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining store presentation, and supporting daily retail operations. The role requires a customer-focused individual who is friendly, responsible, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand customers' needs and provide appropriate product information and recommendations.
• Handle customer enquiries, product demonstrations, and basic complaints professionally.
• Process sales transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods according to company procedures.
• Maintain product displays, shelves, and promotional areas according to company standards.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Assist with stock receiving, checking, stock counting, and inventory management.
• Assist with opening and closing store procedures when required.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily store operations.

About you

• Minimum SPM / equivalent qualification; Diploma in Retail Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a positive and friendly personality.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
