Stamping Technician

Responsibilities :

• Set up, adjust and troubleshoot stamping machines according to production requirements.
• Perform machine changeover, die setup and tooling adjustments to ensure smooth production.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality during production.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure products meet specifications.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance and basic machine repairs.
• Identify and report machine abnormalities, quality issues and equipment failures.
• Work closely with the Production, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues.
• Ensure dies, tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Record production data, machine downtime and maintenance activities accurately.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs and quality standards at all times.
• Maintain good housekeeping (5S/6S) and ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with company safety, environmental and quality management system requirements (ISO/IATF).

Requirement :

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in the stamping industry.

• Knowledge of progressive stamping, high-speed stamping, or precision metal stamping.

• Able to set up and adjust machine parameters according to product requirements.

• Experienced in running first trial / first-piece production and making necessary parameter adjustments.

• Able to troubleshoot machine, process, and product-related issues during production.

• Able to operate and handle dryers, crushers, mixers, and other relevant machines.
