Stand-up Reach Forklift Operator

Spartanburg SCHEDL Automotive is currently seeking a Stand-Up Forklift Operator for a full-time direct hire night shift position. We’re looking for driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, bring a positive attitude to work each day and are ready to get started with a competitive starting pay of $19 per hour + $1 per hour shift premium.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a stand-up forklift to transport tires and wheels to production lines
• Ensure safe and efficient material movement throughout the facility
• Perform basic quality and testing checks
• Follow all work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Keep forklift equipment properly stored, charged, cleaned, and ready for use
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with cleaning assignments and general production tasks
• Cross-train and work on the assembly line as needed
• Communicate with supervisors regarding damages, incidents, or safety concerns
• Work closely with team members and production leadership to meet daily goals

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of stand-up reach truck (forklift) experience
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support multiple areas
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand and/or move continuously throughout the shift

Schedule

This position follows a rotating weekly, 8-hour shift schedule, 7:00PM-3:30AM:

• Sunday-Thursday
• Monday - Friday
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends
