Starbucks Shift Leader

Job Purpose:

• The Starbucks Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store during their shift. This position involves leading and motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining store standards, and driving sales. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for creating a positive and efficient work environment that aligns with Starbucks' mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the store team during shifts to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues.
• Support the Store Manager in executing store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Monitor and manage store performance metrics, including sales targets and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with Starbucks policies, procedures, and standards, including health and safety regulations.
• Assist in planning and executing promotional activities to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred
