Role: STARLIMS Developer

Location : Chennai, India

Work Arrangement: Onsite

REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in .NET and Oracle/SQL/database application development using multi-tier architecture.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues, mentor team members, and effectively manage resources to meet project timelines and objectives.
• Demonstrate and promote best practices in application design, coding standards, development processes, and tool utilization.
• Perform system failure analysis, implement corrective actions, and recommend performance improvements.
• Ability to independently perform essential duties and collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with the STARLIMS LIMS platform ( https://www.starlims.com ), specifically within laboratory environments.
• Extensive experience in STARLIMS development, workflow configuration, testing, deployment, and requirements analysis in collaboration with business users.
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2017/2019/2026.
• .NET Framework 4.0, .NET Core, WCF, and RESTful Web Services.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git, TFS, Bitbucket, or other SCM tools .
• Database technologies including Microsoft SQL Server (2008/2016) and/or Oracle PL/SQL .
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira (Scrum/Kanban) and Confluence .

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience with GitHub Copilot and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and development efficiency.
• Experience or familiarity with Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) and laboratory informatics solutions.
• Exposure to pharmaceutical, life sciences, or laboratory domain applications.
