What they need
NOW HIRING: State Operations Manager – Victoria & Queensland
Locations: Melbourne or Brisbane | Myndie Care
Myndie Care is expanding interstate, and we’re looking for motivated, organised and compassionate people to help grow and manage our operations in Victoria and Queensland.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a meaningful project, work with a team that genuinely cares, and help more people with disability access quality support.
About the role
This is a permanent part-time position to begin, with the opportunity to increase your hours as the project grows.
You’ll help manage and develop day-to-day operations in your state, including:
- Managing client intake, onboarding and ongoing client relationships.
- Building and managing client caseloads.
- Coordinating workers, including onboarding, support and communication.
- Managing rosters and matching workers with clients.
- Building relationships with clients, workers and the wider community.
- Supporting the ongoing growth and development of Myndie Care in your state.
What we offer
- Permanent part-time employment from the start, with opportunities to grow your hours over time.
- Flexible working arrangements, with genuine input into how you structure your workday.
- Primarily work from home, with some client meetings in the community.
- Training, guidance and ongoing support from an experienced team.
- A supportive team that trusts you, backs you and gives you room to take initiative.
- The opportunity to help build something meaningful.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll need to be based in Melbourne or Brisbane, with a strong understanding of the NDIS and disability support sector, along with relevant entry-level qualifications for working in the sector.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently.
- Highly organised, with excellent executive functioning and time-management skills.
- Strong computer and digital literacy, including confidence using email, Microsoft Word, online systems and digital record-keeping.
- Experience using CareMaster or other client management and rostering software is highly regarded, but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to confidently manage client intake, communicate with workers and complete professional NDIS documentation.
- Confident managing competing priorities, client needs and worker rosters.
- A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with clients and workers.
- Passionate about quality, person-centred disability support and making a difference.
Additional qualifications or experience in operations, service coordination, disability support or related fields are welcome but not essential.
LGBTQIA+ people and people with lived experience of disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
If you’re looking for flexible, meaningful work with a supportive team that empowers you to take initiative, we’d love to hear from you!
