Static Code Analysis Engineer

As a Static Code Analysis Engineer, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining static analysis frameworks, ensuring adherence to coding standards, identifying software defects early, and integrating quality gates throughout the software development lifecycle.

Your Role

You will be responsible for implementing and managing static code analysis solutions, conducting detailed source code assessments, and driving quality improvement initiatives across embedded software projects. Working closely with development, testing, DevOps, and operations teams, you will ensure software compliance, security, maintainability, and scalability.

• Conduct static code analysis to identify software defects, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues.
• Analyze and review source code for compliance with coding standards and quality requirements.
• Establish and maintain static software analysis infrastructure across projects.
• Configure, customize, and optimize static analysis tools based on project needs.
• Integrate static code analysis tools into CI/CD pipelines for automated quality checks and vulnerability scanning.
• Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of static analysis environments.
• Develop automation scripts and plugins to streamline analysis workflows and tool integrations.
• Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve identified defects and compliance issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to embed static analysis practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain documentation, best practices, and operational guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and training on static code analysis tools, coding standards, and remediation approaches.
• Stay current with evolving code analysis technologies, coding standards, DevOps practices, and industry trends.

Your Profile

• Strong experience in Static Software Analysis using tools such as Polyspace, Astree, and Coverity .
• Experience in Model-Based Software Development and Embedded Software Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded C development and code analysis.
• Exposure to auto-generated code from DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer .
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, MATLAB, and Simulink .
• In-depth knowledge of coding standards and compliance frameworks including MISRA C/C++ , CERT C/C++ , and AUTOSAR .
• Experience in establishing static analysis infrastructure and integrating quality tools into CI/CD environments.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, automated testing frameworks, version control systems, and Agile practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles, SAFe methodologies, and automation tools such as Jenkins , GitLab , and Azure DevOps .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
