Key Responsibilities:

1. Boiler Operation and Maintenance:

• Monitor the operation of steam boilers, ensuring they function within specified parameters.

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of steam boilers, associated machinery, and auxiliary equipment.

• Ensure boilerman perform regular testing of boiler water and adjust chemical treatment as needed.

2. Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

• Conduct safety checks on equipment and systems, identifying and addressing potential hazards.

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as equipment malfunctions or leaks.

3. Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and resolve issues with steam systems, boilers, and related equipment.

• Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

4. Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and inspections.

• Generate reports detailing system performance, efficiency, and any incidents.

5. Efficiency Optimization:

• Implement measures to enhance the efficiency of steam systems and reduce energy consumption.

• Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify and implement system improvements.

6. Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay informed about relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing steam systems.

• Coordinate the inspection of the steam boilers by local authorities DOSH & DOE.
