Steam Turbine Project Engineering Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Steam Turbine Project Engineering Manager to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will oversee the planning and execution of complex steam turbine upgrade projects, with a focus on mechanical engineering excellence and disciplined project delivery. The position partners closely with engineering, supply chain, and field service teams to coordinate technical scope, ensure quality, and keep work moving efficiently from setup through execution. You will also help drive design review rigor, support innovation, and apply lean methodologies to improve project outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $113,200 – $188,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Deliver steam turbine projects for capital parts and upgrade programs
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and field service teams during project setup
• Utilize project management tools for effective task management
• Ensure compliance with global standards for quality
• Lead design reviews during project execution
• Foster innovation and lean methodologies in project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering of turbomachinery
• 5 years of experience in project execution for complex upgrades
• Experience in technical field services or plant operations
• Willingness to travel up to 20% regionally or globally
