Job Description

We are seeking a flexible, motivated Installer (including driving) to join our growing team. You will travel nationwide alongside our fitting teams installing steel carports and canopies, working Monday to Friday. Our Brownhills, West Midlands yard serves as the central meeting point for all teams and vehicles to then travel within the UK to site.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to sites nationwide and unload materials safely.
• Erect steel structures to company quality standards and client specifications.
• Read engineering drawings/models and safely operate hand, power, and 110v tools.
• Follow safe systems of work (RAMS), wear required PPE, and maintain high health and safety standards.
• Complete required job paperwork accurately.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Essential: CSCS Card, Full UK Clean Driving Licence, UK Work Authorisation.
• Physical Fitness: Role involves manual handling, heavy lifting, and working at height.
• Experience Preferred: Minimum 3 years in site installation and 5 years driving experience.
• Preferred Certifications/Skills: 3 years welding experience, SSSTS Card, IPAF, PASMA, Forklift licence, or Class C1 (7.5t) licence.

Working Conditions & Benefits

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday. Early morning starts with typical 8–10 hour work days.
• Travel: 100% travel/working away from home required during the week.
• Expenses Paid: All hotels, breakfast, and evening meals provided while traveling.
• Equipment: Company vehicles, tools, and PPE fully provided by Kappion.
• Progression: Ongoing training provided for the right candidate to advance to Lead Fitter.

Pay: From £15.40 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
