Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Steel Fabricator / Welder to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for steel fabrication, welding, assembly, and installation of steel structures and components according to technical drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and measurements.
• Perform steel fabrication, cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembling.
• Carry out MIG, TIG, and ARC welding as required.
• Fabricate and weld steel structures, frames, supports, gates, and other metal components.
• Measure, mark, and cut steel materials accurately.
• Inspect welded joints and fabricated components to ensure quality.
• Operate welding machines, cutting tools, grinders, and other workshop equipment safely.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working area.
• Complete fabrication and welding work within the required project timeline.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Steel Fabricator, Welder, or in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of steel fabrication and welding techniques.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Experience using welding machines and hand tools.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and a positive attitude.
• Candidates with relevant technical qualifications or certifications are preferred.
