Steel Painter

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Steel Painter to join our production team on the afternoon shift. The Steel Painter will play a crucial role in ensuring that our steel products are finished to the highest standards, contributing to the overall quality and durability of our offerings.

The role operates out of our brand-new paint booth. Work in a collaborative team and contribute to the growing housing market.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Apply paint and protective coatings to steel products using spray guns and brushes.
• Ensure that all painting work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in inventory management of paint supplies and materials.

Skills:

• Knowledge of safe practices in a manufacturing environment is essential
• Previous experience in a similar role is not necessary but is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
