Steel Processor

Job Summary

Kane Engineering is looking for a reliable, hardworking Steel Processor to join our workshop team in a full-time role.

Main duties include:

• Operate vertical drilling machines and steelworker machines.
• Occasional operation of saws to cut steel to the required sizes.
• Kitting and organising steel parts ready for fabrication and production.
• Checking parts against job requirements.
• Keeping the workshop clean, tidy and safe.
• Supporting the wider workshop team as required.

About you:

• A practical approach and good attention to detail.
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Previous experience in a steel processing or engineering workshop would be an advantage.

Full time position, 40 hours per week.

Early finish on Fridays.

Overtime available.

£14.00 per hour plus timekeeping bonus

Pay: £14.00 per hour
