Steel Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Steel Project Engineer with a strong background in steel structure projects and fabrication to join our team. The candidate should possess expertise in project coordination, execution, fabrication activities, site installation, and project progress monitoring to ensure projects are completed within the specified timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the execution of steel structure projects from commencement to completion.
• Coordinate with design, planning, fabrication, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review engineering drawings, project specifications, and technical requirements.
• Monitor fabrication, material procurement, site installation, and project progress.
• Ensure project activities are completed according to approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Prepare project progress reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Identify project risks, delays, and technical challenges, and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Steel Project Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of steel structures, fabrication processes, and site installation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good project coordination, planning, and execution skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team coordination abilities.
• Relevant experience in the steel structure industry is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
• UAE-attested educational certificate and equivalency certificate are mandatory.
