Steel Structure Engineer

• Design and analyze steel structures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.

• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.

• Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings for accuracy and compliance.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure steel erection follows approved drawings and quality standards.

• Monitor fabrication and installation progress to ensure project schedules are met.

• Resolve technical issues related to structural steel design, fabrication, and installation.

• Perform structural assessments and recommend suitable engineering solutions.

• Ensure compliance with local building regulations, safety requirements, and quality standards.

• Prepare engineering reports, material take-offs, and project documentation.

• Attend project meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural steel design or construction (adjust as needed).

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and BIM software

• Experience with steel fabrication and erection processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and coordination abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
