What they need
We are looking for an experienced Steel Structure Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, fabrication, and erection of structural steel systems for industrial and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze steel structures (frames, trusses, connections) as per relevant codes (IS 800 / AISC / Eurocode)
- Prepare structural drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings
- Coordinate with fabrication and erection teams for on-site execution
- Review and approve shop drawings and BOQs
- Conduct site visits for quality checks and structural inspections
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors as required
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.)
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, Tekla Structures, and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of structural steel design codes and standards
- Prior experience in industrial sheds, warehouses, or pre-engineered buildings (PEB) preferred
- Good communication and site coordination skills
