Steel Structure Engineers

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least of 3 to 5 years experience in steel structure design for Industrial, LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Heavy industrial facility projects (Advantage with Module design experience)
• Proficiency in structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro or RISA 3D.
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Navisworks or Smart 3D
• Code Familiarity with AISC/ASCE
• Experience in Canadian code is an advantage
• With strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures in accordance with applicable international codes, standards, and project specifications. Experience in modular design is an advantage, including the assessment and design of structures in pre-service conditions such as lifting, load-out, sea transportation, and land transportation.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, and engineering deliverables.
• Develop and check detailed design drawings for steel structures.
• Review vendor GA drawings and piping design information, ensuring equipment loads, piping loads, and interface requirements are accurately incorporated into structural designs.
• Conduct design verification and ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and quality procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables while maintaining required quality and project schedule commitments.
