STEM & Coding Instructor (Based in JB)

Monthly Salary: UP to $4500 (Negotiable)

Working Address: Mount Austin, Johor Bahru

Working Hours: 5 days work week, including weekends (9am to 6pm. Compulsory to work on weekends)

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Deliver coding lessons using a structured teaching framework across weekly classes, ad-hoc programs, and school partnerships for local and international students (in Singapore)
• Guide students in developing final projects to be presented and shared with peers and parents
• Foster an engaging, collaborative, and supportive classroom environment
• Encourage students to persevere through challenges and develop ideas into functional creative projects
• Work closely with lead instructors to provide timely and constructive feedback to parents on student progress
• Support the testing and delivery of newly developed curriculum through workshops and hands-on learning sessions
• Continuously refine and improve curriculum based on classroom feedback and learning outcomes

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Passionate about developing the next generation’s digital literacy and computational thinking skills
• Strong interest in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields, with a willingness to continuously learn
• Comfortable with one or more programming languages (preferred)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; open-minded and adaptable
• Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or team training is an advantage
• Interest in software development, including mobile apps, programming, or hardware-related projects
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities
• Demonstrates a strong “get things done” mindset
