About the role

This role involves overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls within the organization. The position requires expertise in financial statement preparation, budget management, and coordination with relevant government and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Verify accounting records for revenue and expenses, adjust accounting entries, and close monthly financial statements
• Review payment and receipt documents to ensure compliance with company policies and appropriate internal controls, including approval authority and budget frameworks
• Verify tax compliance in accordance with tax regulations
• Review account closures and financial statement details for accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting standards
• Prepare and manage annual budgets
• Prepare financial reports and consolidated financial statements for submission to management
• Coordinate with relevant departments such as the Revenue Department, audit offices, and other internal company units
• Manage team to work efficiently
• Analyze, resolve issues, and coordinate across departments to facilitate smooth and efficient operations
• Evaluate departmental performance and provide guidance on problem resolution

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting
• Able to close financial statements
