About the role

This role oversees accounting and financial reporting functions, including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets management. The position involves controlling monthly, quarterly, and annual account closures, verifying financial statements and management reports, and preparing financial disclosures in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards. The role also includes analyzing business performance and presenting key issues to CFO/CEO, controlling Chart of Accounts and Accounting Policies for standardization, and supporting Pre-IPO readiness by developing accounting and finance systems to support listed company operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets
• Control monthly, quarterly, and annual account closures
• Verify accuracy of financial statements and management reports
• Prepare financial statement notes in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards
• Analyze business performance and present key issues to CFO/CEO
• Control Chart of Accounts and Accounting Policies for standardization
• Develop accounting and finance systems to support listed company operations
• Prepare and improve Accounting Policies and Finance Procedures
• Organize accounting documents and evidence for audit trail purposes
• Support financial data preparation for Filing and Due Diligence
• Design and improve internal control systems for accounting and finance
• Determine Segregation of Duties
• Control processes for cash receipt, payment, procurement, and disbursement
• Control access rights to accounting data and systems
• Monitor risk issues and system deficiencies
• Prepare Cash Flow and Cash Flow Forecast
• Manage company liquidity
• Prepare Financial Forecast and Budget
• Analyze costs and returns of investment projects
• Monitor receivables, payables, and Working Capital
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions
• Oversee VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax, and related taxes
• Verify accuracy of tax calculations and filings
• Coordinate with tax advisors and revenue department
• Assess tax impact of significant company transactions
• Analyze revenue and profit by service/program/branch
• Analyze service delivery costs and laboratory costs
• Control material, equipment, and related expenses
• Prepare Financial KPI data for each Business Unit
• Support analysis of viability for opening branches, service centers, or new investments
• Manage and develop accounting and finance team
• Set KPI and work standards
• Review and approve work within assigned authority
• Develop team knowledge in accounting standards, tax, and internal control systems

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–8 years of accounting and finance experience
• 2–3 years of experience managing accounting or finance team
• Strong knowledge and understanding of financial reporting standards (TFRS), accounting principles, taxation, and related laws
• Experience in preparing and verifying financial statements, account closures, and management financial reports
• Knowledge and experience in internal control systems, risk management, and accounting and finance system readiness for audit or Pre-IPO
• Ability to analyze financial statements, cash flow, budget, costs, and business performance to support management decision-making
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems or accounting software
• Skills in planning, problem-solving, team management, and coordination with auditors, financial advisors, and related departments
