The Role

We're actively recruiting STEM tutors across all disciplines—with Mathematics and Physics as our current priority areas. If you love helping students unlock their potential in any STEM subject and want complete flexibility in a remote-first environment, we want to hear from you. Build your own practice, set your own hours, and work with engaged learners who are ready to learn.

STEM Subjects We're Recruiting

Mathematics (PRIORITY)
Elementary foundations through advanced calculus, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and university-level preparation. Help students move from anxiety to genuine confidence with numbers and problem-solving.

Physics (PRIORITY)
Conceptual physics through mechanics, electricity, waves, thermodynamics, quantum concepts, and advanced topics. Bring abstract physics to life for curious learners.

Also Available:
Chemistry, Biology, General Science, and any other STEM discipline—we welcome specialists across the full STEM spectrum.

What You'll Do

• Build Personalized Lessons: Craft instruction that adapts to each student's learning pace, style, and specific academic needs
• Diagnose & Bridge Gaps: Identify misconceptions quickly and rebuild understanding using evidence-based strategies
• Make Concepts Tangible: Use Zoom, interactive whiteboards, simulations, and digital tools to turn abstract ideas into real understanding
• Document Progress: Track advancement systematically and provide feedback that actually drives improvement
• Stay Curriculum-Aligned: Ground lessons in Ontario Curriculum standards while remaining responsive to individual learner pathways

Who We're Looking For

• STEM Experts: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science Education, Engineering, or closely related field
• Grade-Level Versatile: Comfortable teaching Grade 3 through Grade 12; able to simplify for younger learners and challenge advanced students
• Engaging & Energetic: Teaching presence that makes complex material feel approachable
• Tech-Comfortable: Proficient with video platforms, digital tools, and willing to troubleshoot basic tech issues
• Schedule Flexibility: Available for evening and weekend sessions to meet student availability
