Stepdown Unit – Clinical Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring clear communication across the continuum of care.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
• Contributes to a safe and healing environment by promoting best practices and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• No supervisory experience necessary.
