Sterile Compounding Pharmacist

The Pharmacist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy. The ideal candidate for this position will have advanced training in pharmacology and medicine, and a demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to customers. A Pharmacist is expected to utilize their knowledge of pharmaceuticals in order to make decisions about which medications to recommend, and the ability to make quick decisions about these issues.

Responsibilities:

• Compile new prescriptions into computer system.
• Manage pharmacy staff including hiring, training, leading, coaching, and evaluating.
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical products.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Direct pharmacy staff in preparation of prescriptions.
• Inform physician about adverse drug reactions and patient concerns about drug therapy.
• Counsel patients about medications and provide advice about prescription medications.
• Monitor medication usage.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
