Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile compounded medications, including IV infusions, using aseptic technique in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Accurately perform pharmaceutical calculations for medication dosages, dilutions, and admixtures
• Ensure all compounding procedures adhere to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, including drug regulation and state healthcare laws
• Operate pharmacy software systems for data entry, medication tracking, and inventory management
• Maintain patient confidentiality while handling sensitive information and medication records
• Assist with medication intake, dispensing, and patient service in both hospital and community pharmacy settings
• Support hospital pharmacy staff by maintaining sterile environments and performing quality checks on compounded medications

Qualifications

• Prior experience sterile compounding, critical care, or clinical pharmacy settings is highly desirable
• Demonstrated hospital or healthcare environment experience with sterile IV infusion preparation and aseptic techniques
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, medical terminology, and pharmacological medical terminology
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent healthcare certification preferred
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and data entry procedures
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, drug regulation, and state/federal pharmacy laws
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and medication safety
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a high level of attention to detail

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
