Shift:

• Mid Shift: 5×8 hours (15:00 – 23:30)
• Day Shift: 5×8 hours (07:00 – 15:30)
• Night Shift: 5×8 hours (23:00 – 07:30)

Summary

We are seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technicians (SPTs) to support a busy, Level I trauma hospital. The ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of sterile processing experience, mandatory Medivator experience, and expertise in decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and flexible endoscope reprocessing.

Candidates will be responsible for ensuring surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, inspected, assembled, sterilized, tracked, and prepared for safe use. Experience with Censitrac tracking systems, steam and Sterrad sterilization, and operating room liaison responsibilities is highly desirable.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of sterile processing experience; this is a hard-stop requirement.
• Medivator experience is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a teaching hospital is required.
• Level II trauma hospital experience is required; Level I trauma experience is preferred.
• Certification through either:
• CRCST through HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM), or
• CBSPD certification.
• Experience in decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and scope reprocessing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
