Baptist Medical Center South is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our Sterile Processing Department at our South campus. This is a full-time Evenings shift position, working Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm.

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting surgical services by ensuring instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and available for patient care.

As a Sterile Processing Tech, your responsibilities include:

• Perform decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
• Inspect, assemble, and wrap instrument trays and linen for sterilization
• Select appropriate supplies and sterilization methods
• Operate sterilization equipment while following established protocols
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization principles and best practices
• Prioritize workload while maintaining accuracy and quality standards

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Instrument Experience
• 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma
